Conducted mechanical tests and NDE on various materials in support of material development for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS). Human Factors Engineering Team

Designed and prototyped interfaces for missions beyond low Earth orbit in Marshall Space Flight Center's (MSFC) Deep Space Habitat mockup. Responsible for the design and fabrication of the main deck portside of the habitat, which included four independent laboratories and a window viewing area. Created technical drawings and CAD models in SolidWorks and CREO and fabricated prototypes in MSFC's in-house machine shop. Prototypes were evaluated against human factors engineering principles, assessing ergonomics, usability, and safety.
